Community Care Workers
Care Workers are fully trained by our highly experienced Nurses, Managers and Directors to provide loving, quality care to clients. Being a caregiver with the Arcus community is a job that provides someone skills that we can carry with us throughout our lives. Once accepted, our staff receive paid classroom training in all related areas. The training then moves outside the classroom to our service units, where you begin to meet the clients

How do I apply for a job?

What is the process?
We will review your application, and invite you to a prescreening. Once passed, we invite you for an interview. The interview will include questions to determine your suitability to work in the vulnerable sector. Once successful, we check your references and clearances, and will invite you to our paid training program.
What is the training?
Arcus provides comprehensive classroom training and extensive orientation. All training is paid. Training is held Monday-Friday, during business hours.

What are the Casual requirements?
Casual employees must be available a minimum of 3 days per week (for Care Aides) and 2 days per week (for Behaviour Interventionists): one of which must be a weekend day. On the days that you are available, you must be available 2 of 3 shifts.
